Supatra “Natty” Sasupan, once known globally as the “world’s hairiest girl,” has undergone a remarkable transformation—both in appearance and in spirit—and is now celebrating love, self-acceptance, and a powerful life journey.
Born in 1999 with Ambras syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes excessive hair growth over the face and body, Natty’s condition initially left her parents, Sompon and Samrerng, deeply concerned. Yet rather than hiding her from the world, they embraced her with unconditional love and raised her to feel proud of who she was.

Facing Cruelty with Courage
Growing up wasn’t easy. Natty endured teasing and isolation from classmates who didn’t understand her condition. Still, she refused to let the bullying crush her spirit. With the support of her family, she pursued her passions—singing, dancing, and studying—and soon became one of the most admired and popular students at her school.

A Bold New Look
As she matured, Natty made a personal choice to begin shaving her face, revealing the features behind the hair that once defined her. Though many assumed she had undergone a medical cure, her father clarified that it was simply her decision to try a different look. Laser treatments had little impact in the past, but her confidence spoke louder than any treatment could.

Love Beyond Expectations
Around the same time, Natty’s life took another beautiful turn—she fell in love. What began as a close friendship blossomed into a meaningful relationship. Calling her partner “the love of my life,” she shared joyful photos of the two of them together and admitted that she never thought she’d find such happiness.

A Message to the World
Today, Natty’s story stands as a powerful testament to resilience, self-love, and hope. She has become an example of how inner strength, family support, and authenticity can triumph over adversity. Her journey reminds us that true beauty is found not in appearances, but in embracing who you are—completely and unapologetically.
